Traditional Innerspring is a coils system where the coils are all connected to each other. This coils system is the oldest version of spring mattresses but still very popular. Air support Core or Bladders (Air Mattresses)
Air Mattresses are mattresses that have an air support core or bladders. These mattress use air to give you support. With most air based support mattresses you can adjust the firmness’s by adding or taking away air. There are many different types of these systems. From ones that only use a single air bladder to where both you and your partner have to agree on the same firmness or ones with multiple air bladders where you can adjust the firmness of you upper body, lumbar, and lower body to the perfect firmness for yourself. Water beds are a lot like air mattresses except instead of putting air into your mattress you use water they can also come with single bladders, Free Flow, or multiply bladders. Water beds are not as common anymore because of the invention of memory foam. Memory Foam has a lot for the same benefits as a water mattress without all the negative features. There really is not a leading brand for water beds anymore.
